SBA to Host Live Web Chat to Help Prepare Small Business Owners With Disaster Readiness

 


Lori Adamo and Michael Lampton Will Answer Questions Thursday, May 25 From 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., EDT

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Small Business Administration announced that Lori Adamo, president and founder of Code Red Business Continuity Services, LLC, and Michael Lampton of the U.S. Small Business Administration's Disaster Field Office will host the SBA's May Web chat on "Disaster Preparedness" offering tips on emergency readiness and planning for small businesses. The Web chat coincides with Hurricane Preparedness Week, May 21 through 27.


Adamo and Lampton will share their expertise in disaster preparedness and answer questions about how to best prepare for physical disasters, including how to avoid property damage and economic loss and lay the groundwork for recovery. Chat
participants will also be able to ask questions about the SBA's disaster assistance program.

Adamo and Lampton will answer questions for one hour on Thursday, May 25, 2006, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., EDT.

Participants can join the live Web chat by going online to http://www.sba.gov, and clicking "Your Small Business Voice Online Chat." Web chat participants may post questions for Adamo and Lampton before the May 25th chat by visiting http://app1.sba.gov/liveMeeting/liveadamo/intro.cfm and posting their questions online.
