Bolt Technology Included in Fortune's Fastest Growing Companies List

Bolt Technology Corporation has been included in the Fortune Small Business magazine's list of America's 100 Fastest-Growing Small Companies as reported in the July/August 2006 issue. The Company has also been selected for inclusion in the Russell Microcap Index when Russell Investment Group reconstituted its family of U.S. Indexes on June 30, 2006. The Russell Microcap Index is one of the measures institutional equity managers use to follow stock performance.

Raymond M. Soto, Bolt's chairman, president and CEO, commented, "Recognition by Fortune Small Business magazine and the Russell family of U.S. indexes are significant achievements for our Company and reflect the recent strong growth in our revenues and earnings."

Mr. Soto added, "We currently anticipate reporting the financial results for our fourth quarter and fiscal year which ended on June 30, 2006 on or about August 22, 2006."
