Dancing Elephants Achievement
Group will host its “Final Friday Forum” networking event on Sept. 29
from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Fox and Hound restaurant at 111
Shannon Oaks Circle in Cary. There is no charge to attend, and light
hors d’oeuvres will be served. Participants are not required to
R.S.V.P.
Rog Bates, author of How to be Funnier, Happier,
Healthier & More Successful, will hold a 45-minute seminar titled
Humor Matters in Sales.
Topics to be discussed include the following:
“Rog’s performances capture
both wit and wisdom,” said Jean Wiley, director of business
development. “He is a highly entertaining presenter, who will leave you
wanting more.”
Bates is an award-winning stand-up comedian and
songwriter who has performed with Jerry Seinfeld, Jeff Foxworthy and
Ritch Shydner. Bates has more than 15 years of experience as a keynote
speaker and is widely known for his positive, uplifting humor. Over the
course of his career he has assisted IBM, Merrill Lynch,
GlaxoSmithKline and Progress Energy with using humor as an effective
business tool.
