Las Vegas Firm Launches Health Insurance Workshops for the Self-Employed

Knox Associates, LLC, launches a valuable service for local small business owners today. This will increase knowledge and awareness regarding health insurance for Las Vegas Self-Employed and Micro-Businesses.

“There appears to be a lack of understanding when it comes to Self-Employed Individual and Family Insurance Plans here in southern Nevada,” explained Jennifer Knox, president of Knox Associates. “The impression is that it is extremely expensive to insure families these days, and is simply not the case. Coverage can appear minimal and too complicated for insurer’s to understand. This is where our WorkShops become valuable.”

WorkShops are a great venue for people to learn about major insurance carriers that offer health plans in Southern Nevada. Companies and individuals can learn about the positive and negative attributes associated with each of the carrier’s plans. They can also become familiar with how traditional plans as well as Health Savings Account (H.S.A.) qualified plans should operate.

“With the abundant amount of advertisers pitching health plans for affordable premiums, WorkShops will help consumers make informed and intelligent decisions about these plans; with an emphasis in plans offered by Nevada carriers,” said Knox.

During the WorkShop, a session is dedicated to H.S.A. Qualified Plans and how they can provide significant premium savings along with a reduction in out-of-pocket expenses.
