Online shopping is growing rapidly among Black Internet users, and the
number of Black-owned Internet businesses is growing to meet the online
demands of these shoppers. "iZania.com is helping Black-owned
businesses gain traction with a cost effective entrée' into e-commerce
and Internet Marketing," says Roger Madison, CEO of this online
community targeting Black interests. "Our goal is to accelerate the
growth of online Black economic activity."
"We have built an online community around our online entrepreneurs,"
says Madison. "Hundreds of products have been added to iZania Market in
preparation for the 2006 shopping season. We are offering free stores
over the holiday season, enabling users to showcase all of their
products in their own storefront, complete with a unique Internet
address and free listings. We are offering low cost advertising -
allowing entrepreneurs to effectively market to their audience, our
community, at an affordable rate on a short-term basis. This is an
opportunity to take advantage of the biggest Internet shopping day on
November 27, 2006."
Roxanne Ravenel, President / Owner SOHO Support Solutions LLC, recently
wrote, "It is inspiring to see such a comprehensive list of minority
business owners across a variety of industries. Whether I am looking
for a local vendor, or another virtual professional to build a
long-term collaborative relationship with - I know that there is an
excellent chance to make that connection through iZania. It will
continue to be my first line of action when seeking new business
relationships."
Thomas Burns, owner of Small Business Sales Force, wrote, "I expected
to receive a few calls or responses after marketing on your site for a
couple of months. However, I received three requests for services the
very same day the eblast went out. So far, I have two new clients who
will generate a minimum of $10,000 in sales and I am working on closing
two more deals which could bring another $5,000 worth of business. Now
when you consider I spent only $100.00 for this new advertising, I have
never had a marketing tool produce this type of result."
Anthony Redic, Vice President of Marketing, adds, "We are developing a
complete relationship with our members. We introduced the iZania Market
(www.iZaniaMarket.com)
to stimulate selling and buying activity among the visitors to iZania.
While iZania Market hasn't become the Black eBay™ yet, we are gaining
more visitors daily. iZania Market provides an introduction to
e-commerce for many Black entrepreneurs, and a secondary channel of
distribution for others who already have websites that offer online
sales. We are looking forward to making Cyber Monday our biggest
shopping day ever."
iZania LLC (www.iZania.com and www.iZaniaMarket.com)
is a Columbus, Ohio-based company, formed to connect Black
entrepreneurs, professionals, and consumers online. iZania's goal is to
create the world's most extensive "Virtual Black Community," to
accelerate the growth of e-commerce, and help the descendants of Africa
act in our self-interests.
