Navigator Management Partners, LLC has been selected as one of the "Fast 50" companies and one of the "Best Places to Work" in Central Ohio by Business First. Navigator was named the fifth-best place to work among small businesses and the 19th fastest-growing company in Central Ohio. Navigator is the only company recognized on both lists.

Navigator provides world-class business consulting services through its project management, business process re-engineering and packaged software solutions for a variety of clients. The company placed fifth on the Columbus Business First list of best places to work for small companies.

"I'm very proud of these awards," Navigator founding partner David Schoettmer said. "When we started this company five years ago, we had many goals, but the most important one was to always attempt to exceed our clients' expectations. We always treat our clients well, value our employees and stick to our business model. If we can do all of these things well, our business will continue to grow. So far, the philosophy has worked, and it's nice to realize that people are starting to notice what we're doing."

Qualifying for Business First "Fast 50 Award" recognition requires a business to record revenue in excess of $1 million for three consecutive years. Navigator was eligible for the first time this year and will close its current fiscal year with 30 Columbus-based employees and revenues in excess of $4 million. The "Fast 50 Award" recognizes privately-held companies for consistent and significant year-over-year sales growth. It is awarded through the business publication and is verified by an independent accounting firm.

To receive the "Best Places to Work" recognition, Central Ohio companies were judged on team effectiveness, mitigating retention risk, aligning values with goals, building trust among co-workers, enabling individual contribution, manager effectiveness, level of trust in senior leaders, feeling valued and overall people practices.

Navigator Management Partners combines vast client experience across public and private sectors with deep skills in consulting, technology and outsourcing allowing organizations to innovate and remain high-performing businesses. Navigator's clients represent the higher education, healthcare, software, retail, financial services and utility industries.
