Small Business Success Center Celebrates Anniversary with Open House

Carlsbad, CA -- To commemorate the first
anniversary of the Small Business Success Center (SBSC), the Carlsbad
Chamber of Commerce, www.carlsbad.org,
will host an Open House Thursday, May 3. The event will include an
entire day of workshops, educational programs, counseling and a
celebration of small business success. Since its inception in 2006, the
SBSC has helped more than 500 companies maintain and expand their
business through programs that include financing, marketing and
networking workshops, counseling, and research. A complete schedule can

8-10 a.m. - Growing your Business when you are the Business!
Steps to make the next 12 months the best of your career, presented by Mark LeBlanc.

10 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Small Business Counseling
Counselors are available to provide valuable direction and consulting, appointments available at no charge.
3 p.m. - 5 p.m. - Public Relations on a Budget
Presented by Cynthia Trevino, president of RESONNECT and Jeff
Donnelley, President of 760 Media. Free for members, $10 for
prospective members, reservations required.
