Virtual Assistant Honored as "Celebrated VA of the Month"

West Chester, PA – Virtual Assistant, Teresa Berger of Innovate Services, was honored January 17th as DVVAA’s (Delaware Valley Virtual Assistants Association) “Celebrated VA of the Month”; the first for 2007. This honor recognizes Innovate Services as a successful, reliable virtual organization in the community. DVVAA is a local organization with members from New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware serving various industries needing support in areas including marketing, writing, editing and real estate support.

Virtual Assistants are entrepreneurs working remotely, usually from a home office, utilizing the appropriate technology to support their clients’ needs. Clients only pay for time spent on their projects and are free from having to spend additional dollars for training, benefits, down-time, sick-time, traditional recruitment processes, etc. Like Ms. Berger, many VA’s are well educated working mothers with traditional corporate backgrounds who sought a better work/life balance therefore, launching their own businesses. The industry continues to grow significantly, with the help of organizations like DVVAA and IVAA (International Virtual Assistants Association™) promoting the industry and educating their members.

Since September 2005, Innovate Services has supported organizations in the non-profit and real estate arenas, as well as other VA’s and home-based business owners. Innovate Services was developed as a virtual organization for the purpose of helping business owners in the areas of their business which they either do not have the time or desire to focus. Specific areas of support may include: website and/or newsletter content development, ghostwriting, editing of internal and external communications, flyer/brochure development, and direct mail development.

So often we try to handle all business tasks ourselves, only to later experience burnout or a negative result. Virtual Assistants like Ms. Berger have the complementary educational and professional background so many small business owners require to handle the functions of their business that aren’t necessarily revenue generating.
