WASHINGTON – The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) released the draft Strategic Plan for Fiscal Years 2008 through 2012 for public review and comment. The draft Strategic Plan describes our mission, strategic goals, objectives, and means and strategies to achieve those goals.
The Government Performance and Results Act of 1993 requires federal agencies to update their Strategic Plan every three years and submit the plan to the Congress. Federal agencies also must solicit the views and suggestions of those potentially affected by, or interested in, the plan.
Therefore, the SBA is interested in receiving comments on our draft Strategic Plan from all interested parties. Comments are due by September 10, 2007.
To access the draft strategic plan, go to: http://www.sba.gov/aboutsba/budgetsplans/serv_budget_strategicplan.html.
You can provide your comments online through the SBA Web site or e-mail to: Performancereports@sba.gov.
