Employers may not discharge, threaten to discharge, reduce the salary, demote or impose onerous working conditions on an employee because the employee is summoned to serve or has served as a juror

Paid time off. Any person who has had to be absent from employment to act as a juror may, at such person's discretion, charge the time away from work to the person's regular vacation leave.
