Nevada Rules on Employing Minors

In Nevada, the board of trustees of any school district, or any person designated by the board, will issue to a minor over 14 who has been excused from attending school by the board, a certificate that must be presented by the minor to the minor's employer.

A minor under 14 cannot be employed during school hours unless the minor is excused by the school district or under order of the juvenile division of the district court for purposes of employment.
