New Year's Day (January 1), Lincoln's Birthday (February 12), Maryland Day (March 25), Good Friday, Independence Day (July 4), Defenders' Day (September 12), Veterans Day (November 11), Thanksgiving Day (fourth Thursday in November), Christmas Day (December 25) and statewide election days.

Special rules. When a legal holiday occurs on a Sunday, the following Monday is a holiday.
