Paying Terminated Employees in Michigan

In Michigan, an employee who voluntarily quits must be paid all wages earned and due, on the next regularly scheduled payday. Employees engaged in the hand harvesting of crops must be paid no later than three days after quitting. Discharged employees must be paid within four working days of the termination date, except that employees engaged in hand harvesting of crops must be paid within one working day of discharge.
