Restrictions on Firing Employees in Kansas

Kansas laws make it unlawful for an employer to fire an employee for testifying before the Secretary of Human Resources; fail to allow employees time off to vote or for jury duty; deny equal employment opportunity; retaliate against an employee for filing a wage claim; fire an employee for having wages garnished; or violate protections for veterans or reservists.
