Restrictions on Firing Employees in Kentucky

Kentucky laws make it unlawful for an employer to fail to allow employees time off to vote; fail to allow employees time off to serve on jury duty; fire employees for attending a required hearing or other official proceeding; deny equal employment opportunity; violate protections for veterans or reservists; retaliate against an employee for filing a safety complaint or a wage complaint; or fire an employee for having wages garnished.
