Restrictions on Firing Employees in Nevada

Nevada laws make it unlawful for an employer to interfere with employees' political activities; fire employees during the pendency of arbitration; fail to permit employees time off to vote; fire employees on the report of a "spotter" without a hearing; deny equal employment opportunity; violate protections for veterans or reservists; or retaliate against an employee for filing a safety, wage, or employment practices complaint; require an employee to take a polygraph test; or fire an employee for having wages withheld for child support or other garnishment.
