Restrictions on Firing Employees in Colorado

Colorado laws make it unlawful for an employer to fire an employee for serving on jury duty; fail to give voters time off to vote; fire a volunteer fireperson who responds to an emergency summons; fire to discourage or encourage unionism; deny equal employment opportunity; retaliate against an employee who files a wage/hour law complaint or whose wages are withheld for child support or other garnishment.
