South Carolina Rules on Employing Minors

Effective May 26, 2006, South Carolina guidelines for child labor conform with federal regulations, specifically as to the permitted and prohibited employment of minors ages 14 to 16 in kitchen work and food preparation and in cooking and baking and as to the list of hazardous occupations or occupations detrimental to the health of minors ages 16 to 18.
