Tenancy by the entirety

A tenancy by the entirety is a form of joint ownership applicable in some states that can only be created by a husband and wife during their marriage. Tenancies by the entirety have survivorship rights, like joint tenancies, but may not be terminated during the marriage by the action of only one by the tenants.
