Tipped Employees in WyomingIn Wyoming, in determining the wage rate of a tipped employee, the amount paid such employee by the employer is deemed to be increased on account of tips received by the employee by an amount not in excess of 50 percent of the applicable minimum wage. In all cases, however, the minimum wage paid by an employer to its employee may not be less than $2.13 per hour. If the wage paid by the employer combined with the employee tips is less than the minimum wage of $5.15 during any given pay period, the employer must pay the difference to the tipped employee. Tipped employees are employees who customarily and regularly receive more than $30 a month in tips. |
