When starting a business, you want to be sure to get things going on the right foot. Having a launch party can be the perfect way to introduce the world to your company, but for a startup with a small budget, the idea of investing in a big bash may be daunting. Just because you don't have the big bucks right now, doesn't mean you can't do things right. Take a look at these cheap company launch party ideas for new entrepreneurs to see what can be done without breaking the bank.

Venue and Atmosphere
Choosing a party location that is budget-friendly is important, but you also need to consider the vibe or atmosphere of the place. Your venue should be appropriate to your business. If your company is a high-tech startup, an industrial loft or trendy feeling club might be ideal. Those with a more traditional businesses may wish to choose something a bit more low-key or classic, like a banquet hall or simple community meeting locations. Sometimes a location's vibe can be altered with decor, allowing you to be more flexible. Sometimes schools or nonprofits may rent out conference rooms, auditoriums, or other spaces. Some centers like Noah’s Event Venues will even help provide some décor or help set up seating. Just be sure to choose somewhere that can adequately accommodate your guests and that isn't too large, as too much empty space can create the appearance of low turnout.

Food and Drink
The kind of food and drink you serve depends on your business, clientele, and potential donors. An afternoon tea with pastries or cookies could suffice for an intimate gathering meant to introduce your company to a particular group like interested board members. However, if you're hoping to woo potential donors, you may want to go bigger. Having a bar and a full meal may be necessary. Add your branding to the menu whenever possible. Perhaps a signature cocktail the main color of your brand can be served, or a large cake with your logo can be placed in a prominent location within the room.

Fun and Swag
There should be some sort of entertainment at your party, but professionals can be pricey. Consider adding quirky games or crafts to complement your theme instead. You could do a dance contest, have guests make their own cards related to your theme, or set up a photo booth with props. The only limit is your imagination.

These are merely a few suggestions to get your wheels turning. As you can see, you truly can pull off an impressive launch party on a budget.
