If you are a retired person, a single parent, or a mom or dad wanting to present for all the growth milestones of your kids and you're looking for a supplemental income, a home based business can be an awesome job opportunity.

I am a single parent myself, and I certainly know how difficult it is to make ends meet. Especially around Christmas, for special occasions, and preparing for the first day of school, the almighty dollar does not stretch far enough to cover the necessary budget. Plus, one job is sufficient to pay all my expenses every month. I have the best of both worlds. Awesome!

As a parent and teacher, I am keenly aware that schools now aren't the same as they were when I was a child. Attending school now includes lock downs, terrorist drills, and kids with zero regard for anyone.

As a result of that, there are a number of parents who have decided to provide their children with an education at home through the use of correspondence, one-on-one teaching, or virtual classrooms. While the kids are doing their homework, mom or dad can run a business from home. This is the perfect way to do it since the cost of providing the resources necessary for learning from home and raising kids typically necessitates two incomes.
