WALLA WALLA, Wash. – At the Small Business Administration (SBA) Awards Event on April 20, 2006, Banner Bank was named by the Seattle District Office as the #1 SBA 504 Lender in the Community Lender category for the State of Washington. 

“We are honored to be recognized by the SBA for this prestigious award,” said Senior Vice President/SBA and Cash Management Sales Manager Linda Parker Hasz.  “Our Commercial Loan Officers in all of our communities are directly responsible for making Banner Bank #1 in this category.”

The SBA 504 program is economic development financing specifically designed to stimulate private sector investment in long-term fixed assets to increase productivity developed by the United States government to foster economic development, create or preserve job opportunities, and stimulate growth, expansion and modernization of small businesses.  This stimulus is provided by making long-term, low down payment, reasonable priced fixed-rate financing to healthy and expending businesses which have the highest probability of successfully creating new jobs and competing in the world marketplace.
