NEW YORK - PC Magazine, the number one technology publication in the United States, today announced a call for entries for its first annual SMB 25 Awards. The Awards will honor companies that have fewer than 300 employees, have been in business for a year or more, and have implemented technology to successfully grow their businesses.

PC Magazine will accept nominations through June 30, 2006 at go.pcmag.com/nominateyourcompany. Winners will be announced in September 2006 and profiled in the October 3rd issue of PC Magazine (on sale September 19th) and online at http://www.pcmag.com.

"Small businesses are the lifeblood of the U.S. economy, generating 60 to 80 percent of new jobs every year and representing over 99 percent of all companies," said Jim Louderback, editor-in-chief of PC Magazine. "With today's technological advancements, even a small company has the tools to run a global business. The SMB 25 Awards will pay homage to the men and women who are using technology to run their businesses in the most inventive and profitable ways imaginable."
