Charlotte, N.C. - Topics Education (www.topicseducation.com), an education
outreach consulting firm based in Charlotte, NC, has been chosen as a
finalist for the 2006 Entrepreneur Awards. Topics Education is one of
eight finalists in the Charlotte Chamber’s awards program and was named
one of four finalists on May 31, 2006 to the category, “Owners with
1-20 employees.” The event is a tradition in Charlotte, recognizing big
and small businesses that have entrepreneurial spirit and fervor for
innovation, sustainability and achievement.
“Being recognized by the Charlotte business community is a true honor,"
says Phelps Sprinkle, President and CEO of Topics Education. "As a
pioneer in education outreach and communications, we believe an
unprecedented opportunity exists for businesses to support education in
the communities they serve in meaningful ways. This opportunity is what
drives us, and we thank the Chamber for supporting the cause of
entrepreneurship.”
The event will be held at The Westin Charlotte on September 14, 2006
from 6:00-9:30 P.M., and will honor local and regional entrepreneurs.
This is the 23rd year of this event and this is the first year the
