INTECON Selected '2007 Small Business Contractor of the Year'

The 21st Contracting Squadron at Peterson AFB, CO selected INTECON, LLC "2007 Small Business Contractor of the Year" among significant competition of more than 50 other Small Businesses. The award was presented by the Department of Defense (DOD) Pikes Peak Region Military Installations at the GSA Gateway to Government Contracting conference, sponsored by the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce, 4-5 April 2007, at the Antlers Hilton in Colorado Springs, CO.

INTECON achieved this honor based on its outstanding contributions to the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) Advisory and Assistance Services (N2A2S) contract. N2A2S is a performance-based, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, five year, $800 million ceiling contract in support of Homeland Defense (HD) and Homeland Security (HS). Said Mike Anderson, "As INTECON's President and CEO, I speak for all of us in saying we consider it a duty and privilege to help protect our Nation from threats both external and internal. We are especially proud of the diversely qualified Team that leads our N2A2S group, as well as the many others who daily contribute to the success of this project.
