International web hosting provider NetWideHost.com announced the
company will start offering web hosting services that use servers
located in the United Kingdom. "Our intention is to make European and
UK customers happier and to boost their online success".
The UK-based servers were deployed in the BlueSquare Data center in
Maidenhead, England. "We have chosen to launch our new servers in the
United Kingdom because of the growing demand from clients from the
United Kingdom and Europe". NetWideHost.com already has offices
situated in London, approximately 25.7 miles east of Maidenhead. The
company believes this will play an important role in the successful
management of the new service.
The new servers will feature the powerful Intel Xeon E5335 Processor
with 4GB ECC REG 533 FBDIMM and 2.5 tera bytes of hard disk space.
BlueSquare's 10,000 sq. ft. Data Center is fully-equipped with a
climate control system, PowerWave UPS system and a Broadcrown 2
megawatt generator. Onsite NOC engineers are available 24 hours a day,
7 days a week and the entire facility is closely monitored, requiring
an access card for entry.
