Raleigh, N.C. – Gourmet cookie company A Sweet Reminder was recognized for having the largest race team in the small business category at the Triangle Race For The Cure held on June 10th at Meredith College in Raleigh. The company’s team, named “Cookies For The Cure”, had 122 members for the event benefiting the Susan G. Komen foundation.

“Our sponsors and customers came through,” said Cindy Sheats, a breast cancer survivor who founded the company in her Raleigh home four years ago. “They realized how much this event means to our company and we really appreciate it,” she added

A Sweet Reminder is a business- to- business professional service that allows businesses worldwide to send fresh-baked cookies with a personalized note to celebrate holidays, employee birthdays or show appreciation to customers. The cookies may be packed in a variety of containers, including personalized tins.

Sheats donates a portion of all proceeds from the sale of their pink boxes to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
