Let's face it; some clients are better than others to do business with. However, those clients that are more simple to handle might not realize how easy they make your life. This is why it's always a good idea to send a "thank you" card to express how grateful you are for your clients' business. These are six creative ways to thank your business clients.

Directly Call Them

It might seem basic, but people are becoming more busy, and phone calls between businesspeople are becoming more sparse. These days, it's normal to just email, text, or tweet. Your client will truly appreciate it if you take time out of your day to call them and directly tell them how much they've helped you.

Offer Them Discounts

Nobody scoffs at a discount when it comes to doing business. The next time your client needs a job performed or product ordered, consider carving out a 25% discount as a "thank you" gesture.

Send a Nice Thank-You Note

It would also more than likely make your business client's day if you sent them a "thank you" note, like those found on www.doremeow.com. Your client will enjoy the gesture, and they will also enjoy the artwork designed for each card.

Feature the Client on Your Homepage

Featuring the client on your homepage is not only a way to say, "thank you," but it's also a surefire way to get your client more exposure. Simply featuring their photo and a small block of text about why you're grateful for their business can go quite a long way.

Throw an Event

You can even host an event that is designed to show your appreciation for your business client. If you decide to do this, you might want to consider catering, a DJ, etc. Your client will be absolutely blown away by the effort you put into organizing the event, and it's likely your relationship with him/her will tighten in bond.

Brag on Them via Social Media

Lastly, realize that social media is not only useful for tooting your own horn and marketing yourself. You can also use it to publicly thank your client for everything they've done for your business. Simply send them a tweet or tag them in a Facebook post to initiate your thanks, and also provide exposure for the client in the process. Your client will appreciate it, and your fans will also get a look at the gratitude.
