Some true and
unique online business or work from home opportunities come along and unfortunately,
quite a lot of them are scams and will just want to take your money and you
have no recourse to get your money back.
When you have been
affected by a couple of these scams, you would be inclined to be totally put
off by looking at any business proposition or work from home opportunity again.
I didn’t accept
this and spent quite a significant amount of time doing some research and
getting educated on finding real
opportunities and separating them from the fake ones. I did this by having some
key criteria that needed to be achieved so I would see that the opportunity was
real.
Whether you accept
that the internet is just for information, porn or scams, that is entirely up
to you, but if you believe that there are some unique opportunities,
then read on.
The criteria is as
follows:
- The business doesn’t promise the earth
for very little payment, in other words I can make a fortune for doing
almost nothing.
- As funny as this may seem, you must
ensure it does not involve any illegal activities, selling or promoting of
illegal items or any form of money transfer on behalf of any party.
- No requirement to have to get other
people to join, or promote in such a way so other people have to get more
people to join by asking them to pay and receive bonus’ for ‘recruiting’
more people. (in other words - pyramid schemes)
- To have an actual registered business
name that I can verify exists and is in operation in the country of origin
and I can verify in that countries relative government website. For
example, in Australia,
all business’ require an ABN (Australian Business Number) to be able to
legitimately operate their business. They also need to be registered for
GST (Goods & Services Tax), this is known differently in other
countries ie, VAT in the UK.
- Doesn’t request an obscene amount of
money to invest to start or run the business, but does request a certain
amount (you cannot expect to operate a business from absolutely nothing).
- Doesn’t spruik like many other
(1,000’s of) websites or doesn’t just have links to other ‘moneymaking’
websites.
- Other people are not earning a single
cent of income.
- That I may only achieve an income
through my own efforts and amount of time I spend on the business and that
I understand that it may possibly take many, many months until I achieve
an income that will meet or exceed my current 9-5 income.
- Importantly, that I have full support
from the company for any queries or questions I have.
- Finally, check your relevant
government website and ensure that the opportunity you are researching is
NOT A SCAM !!!! for example www.scamwatch.gov.au
is a Australian Government website outlining scams (both internet and non
internet scams).
Now that I have
outlined the criteria above, the question is now did I find an opportunity to
meet and/or exceed the criteria ? Yes, I did. Have I made lots of money? No not
yet, but I am well on the way to earning a decent income. It has not made me
super rich, but I can now enjoy some things that just working a job would not
afford me.
I cannot provide
any guarantees you will earn a significant income but you can investigate more
information from my website.
