Ok, I am going to cover something that is a very important and extremely valuable to anyone who wants to build an online business. I am going to enlighten you with something I discovered sometime ago and have applied to my business ever since to generate an income from the internet. I really wish someone had shared this with me when I first started out!

Several years ago when I started my own online business I was a mountain of enthusiasm and energy. The Only thing I could think of was how much I was going to make and what I was going to do with all of it.

For several months all I did was try to absorb as much information as I could possibly hold so I could create a solid foundation for my business. I did not want to rush head on into this venture without first knowing that everything would be just right. When I thought that I was confident enough that everything was ready, I plunged into setting up my first online business. For the next couple of months I continued to work Countless long hours with a minimal amount of sleep knowing that soon it would pay off big.

Months of hard work later, it finally hit me that life on the net was not going to be as easy as I had thought. While I was putting in the "long hard hours" I wasn't getting any closer to the results I had expected. I was certainly dissapointed but it just motivated me even more and I was more determined than ever to succeed. So I just decided to create more sites, working even harder and hoping that one day I would find the right answers to being successful.

Somewhere around 2 years of doing this with very little success, I came to the realization that something was drastically wrong. So I paused and sat back and did a complete analysis of exactly what I had done over the previous 2 years. What I discovered shocked me. To put it mildly, I just couldn't believe that I had been That dumb. Once I identified the problem and implemented a few simple changes, the results were amazing.

All of a sudden I was making Real decent money. I also noticed a huge difference in the amount of extra time I had. Suddenly I had hours of spare time that I could happily spend with my family or doing other projects to generate even more profits.

So what was this simply step that made so much difference to my business?

This one simple thing is a major downfall for the majority of "would be" online business owners. This one thing in most cases is the difference between winning or losing in the marketing game.

To sum it up, I discovered "The number one reason that most people fail on the net and this is the main reason why most new marketers never make a cent online. Not staying focused and trying to do too many things at the same time!

For example, You check your email and there is a hundred emails waiting for you to open and check out. You then spend at least 30 minutes going through them to see if there's anything of interest. Then, Oh my god!, you see a product or program that you've just gotta have. Maybe it identifies a problem you've encountered and having it will ease all your confusion and frustration by filling a void.

Maybe this is just the answer you've been waiting for that will allow you to finally leap that last hurdle in your path to success. With this product maybe, just maybe, you'll finally be able to reach your goals.

The trouble is that very rarely does this happen. In fact most times when first starting out, buying more products only adds to your confusion and frustration. It's just one more strategy you have to learn and implement on top of the other projects you already have on the going on.

But you tirelessly struggle on, because you really feel that the more products or programs you have to offer, the better your business is going to be in the long run, you know just in case this one doesn't work maybe one of the other dozen or so will!.

Real quickly you find out that you simply don't have the time to do everything, so you jump from one unfinished scheme or idea to another trying to see which is best, without ever seriously implementing any of them. The end result is more frustration, more confusion... and a wallet that is no longer painful to sit on be cause there is not much in it.

Now don't misunderstand me.

Building multiple streams of income is a key element to online success. And regardless of what niche you promote, there are some products or services that you simply must have if you are to build a solid long-term income.

But unless you have a solid business plan that you follow religiously, blindly buying new products on a whim will in fact have a negative impact on your business.

If this sounds a little (or lot) like you, then don't despair because you're not alone!

This is the primary reason why most businesses never really get off the ground. But if you're prepared to change (or develop) your "Business plan" you're going to see that you can turn your misfortunes around and get back on track virtually overnight.
