With so many unemployed, people are wondering if making money online is
a better way to earn income than a conventional job. I was recently
speaking with a friend of mine and he asked me, "Are there legitimate ways to make money online?"
and I told him that there are many ways. He asked me if I wouldn't mind
compiling a few of them on a website to share with people who are
searching for them, so here we are.
1. One very good way to make money online is to run your own niche blog about a topic in which you have a lot of knowledge about. Pros- the content is easy as you are the one originating it. Cons- some
technical knowledge is required to set up a blog and make sure the
world know you are alive, so to speak.
2. Start a stock photo website. Pros-Again, content is easy to generate because all it takes is a
digital camera and a good eye. Cons- Some additional server based
software is needed which will cost more, and basic technical skill is
required to upload pics, etc.
3. Become an affiliate for a product you believe in. Pros- you get to sell a product that you didn't have to design,
construct or produce that will help other people learn or perform a
task. Cons- some knowledge regarding internet marketing is required and
income may be spotty until you really learn how to do it well.
4. Establish an Ebay store. A friend of mine makes a decent living putting peoples possessions on
Ebay for sale, taking a 20% fee. Pros- ANYONE can do this and when you
can't find people who will let you sell their stuff, you can always
find some on craigslist free section. Cons-You rarely make a ton of
money.
5. Write and sell your own e-books. This topic is related to topic #1 in that you have to have some sort of
valuable knowledge that people will pay for. Pros-you are the
originator of the info and control how and where it is marketed.
Cons-If nobody buys your books you will not make any money.
I
just listed 5 super easy, home computer based businesses that you could
start up right now, and begin making money right away with. Granted,
some of them do require some technical knowledge and there are
resources available to learn that technical knowledge as well, so you
shouldn't be overwhelmed by it. Just look at the resource box below for
a list of places you can go to learn all the technical knowledge you
will need. Now, if you feel like you cannot find a regular job and are
adventuresome enough to take up a challenge that will be as fulfilling
as any job, get started today and get after making your business
succeed!
